Bovine Classic Takes Place

October 26, 2024

The Rider Guide Is Here

We've launched the official 2024 Bovine Classic Rider Guide. Please read it carefully, because it's got all the information we hope you'll need to have a great Bovine weekend. We may add more information over the next week, but now's a great time to start getting into your Bovine state of mind.

We have eliminated those pesky handlebar numbers from this year's ride. Instead, we'll be using a smaller RFID plate that you can mount on your seat post or rear stay. Be sure to watch Carlos' snazzy videos on how to mount them. In order for your times to be counted, you'll want to follow his lead.

Also, and this is really important, you must ride your full course to have your segment times counted. If you signed up for the Big Bovine, but are feeling that Feisty is more your vibe this year, email Bike Monkey Here.

What's Up With The Pre-Rides?

They're happening on Thursday & Friday. These are open to all Bovine Classic riders, but we need ya to RSVP HERE.

From Our Friends At Visit Cambria

Cambria offers the perfect combination of roads to ride, dining options to refuel, and cozy lodging to recover after ringing the cowbell at the Bovine Classic.

Considered the hidden gem of the Central Coast, Cambria is nestled between the ocean and historic Highway 1, encompassing magical Moonstone Beach and situated along one of the best stretches of the historic West Coast highway. Full of village charm, delicious flavors, natural wonders, and vibrant culture, this pine-studded hideaway has been a central hub for cycling road warriors for over 150 years. Along with endless route possibilities, (check out Cycle Central Coast for the skinny,) Cambria has enough outdoor opportunities, boutique shops, antiques, food and wine, history, and art attractions to instill a strong desire to extend your stay.

Also, October is special with the Scarecrow Festival taking over town. Admire the unique scarecrow creations of talented local artists as you cap off your trip with special moments only available in Cambria.

That's it for now, y'all. Next week, we'll talk about aid stations and the annual Radio Free Bovine Spotify playlist.

Hoof bump,

Bryoncé & The Monkeys
